This class was offered as an after school activity with local high school students as well as an evening class for the community. Participants worked on basic watercolour techniques, learned introductory color theory and experimented with different mediums on watercolour to then create a collage.

Class taught by Anaisa Cornejo
Anaisa Cornejo Rojas was born in Arequipa, Perú, were she studied visual arts. Arequipa is a well known city for its watercolor artists, because of its weather and beautiful landscapes. Wanting to learn more about the art therapy and how to use the art for social objectives, she studied Cultural Mediation through Arts in Valencia. She started offering art workshops in 2013, this project took on a life of it’s own, www.tallerestudiocolor.com
Cornejo arrived in Quebec in 2019 and is already aiming to use her knowledge and experience working for cultural and artistic projects that explore the cultural diversity of countries.
Anaisa has discovered the joys of winter and the deliciousness of maple syrup since arriving.
